Spring 2012
Altus, Arkansas is an official wine region of the United States. Regions are known as American Viticultural Areas, or AVA's. Post Vineyards is part of this unique geography and climate, and using specially chosen grape varieties, we are producing the best local wines for you to enjoy now.
We've bottled a new wine this spring called Blue Parachute, light and refreshing, when chilled it is perfect for the warmer spring and summer evenings.
One of our biggest projects this year is the remodel of our more than 40-year-old tasting room. Folks, you are going to love the new digs. We hope to have it open by late Spring, 2012. In the meantime, our temporary tasting room is well-stocked, and we'll have many home and garden, gift items and grape vines ready for planting. So pardon our mess, and come on by for the best in Arkansas wine! We have a lovely Delaware split called Sugar Moon, a new easy-drinking Vignoles, and our new food-friendly reds: Prophecy 2010 and Chambourcin 2010.

Post Winery is open daily for tastings and tours. We're open for tours and tastings. Post Winery is just two hours from Little Rock, an hour and a half from Harrison or Conway, about an hour from Fayetteville, Russellville or Fort Smith. No crowds, lots of fresh air. Come "Toast with Post"!
If you live in a "wet" county, you can find our wines in groceries or package stores. If you can't find it at your favorite store, be sure to ask for it. Not sure where to look? Call our offices during business hours (800) 275-8423 and we'll let you know where you can find our wines in Arkansas and elsewhere.
We are not shipping wine at this time. Arkansas is only one of many states that are works-in-progress when it comes to updating wine shipping laws. We currently aren't allowed to directly ship to anyone in our own state! If you'd like to be able to ship wine or receive it, please contact your local elected officials and state representatives and let them know where you stand. FreeTheGrapes.org is a great website which explains the scope of the issue in more detail.
