GRAPES INTO WINE

  Summer 2010

The summer sun works magic in our vineyards, powering grapevines into amazing botanical factories. Arkansas grapes, destination Post Winery, the result a glass of delicious sunshine.

We've got lots going on this summer, so come on by, see and taste. A popular family event is the annual Altus Grapefest featuring live music, crafts and great food. The Fest falls on July 30th and 31st, and we'll have a grape stomp, wine competition and crown Bacchus. We hope you'll visit and even stay a night or two at a local inn or cabin getaway. Check the "Visit Us" link above for a list of places to stay and phone numbers.

We're open daily for tastings and tours. Experience Arkansas wine country. Post Familie Winery is just two hours from Little Rock, an hour and a half from Harrison or Conway, about an hour from Fayetteville, Russellville or Fort Smith. No crowds, lots of fresh air. Come "Toast with Post"!

If you live in a "wet" county, you can find our wines in groceries or package stores. If you can't find it at your favorite store, be sure to ask for it. Not sure where to look? Call our offices during business hours (800) 275-8423 and we'll let you know where you can find our wines in Arkansas.

Post Winery is not shipping wine at this time. Arkansas is only one of many states that are works-in-progress when it comes to updating wine shipping laws. We currently aren't allowed to directly ship to anyone in our own state! If you'd like to be able to ship wine or receive it, please contact your local elected officials and state representatives and let them know where you stand. FreeTheGrapes.org is a great website which explains the scope of the issue in more detail.
